Project Hail Mary

Author: Andy Weir
Category: Science
My Rating: ★★★★☆
My Thoughts
Andy Weir does it again with this thrilling sci-fi adventure! The protagonist, Ryland Grace, wakes up alone on a spaceship with no memory of his mission, and the gradual revelation of his purpose is masterfully done.
The science in this book is both accessible and fascinating. Weir's ability to explain complex astrophysics concepts in an engaging way reminds me of Carl Sagan's work. The relationship between Grace and Rocky is the heart of the story - one of the most unique and touching alien friendships I've encountered in fiction.
While I enjoyed The Martian more, this is still an excellent read with plenty of humor, problem-solving, and high-stakes drama. The ending was particularly satisfying and unexpected.
Great review! I've been meaning to read this - your thoughts convinced me to move it up my list.11
How long did it take you to implement these strategies before you saw results?
I also loved this book! The section on environment design was particularly eye-opening for me.
